In today’s market of misleading claims and advertising hype we are confident that in a direct comparison you, too, will see the difference and discover the value of owning a Pursuit built by the family who has a reputation for quality and values of being one of the best boat companies in the world.

Pursuit Culture
“ Our goal is to be the best, not the biggest.”
It has been this obsession which has driven Leon Slikkers, founder of S2 Yachts, Tiara Yachts and Pursuit Boats, since he began building boats in 1945. The drive to build every boat perfect. The drive to make every boat the best using the latest technology and engineering combined with real world craftsmanship for over 64 years.

Values and Heritage
At Pursuit, our main core value is to do the right thing. This goes beyond building boats and influences the way we conduct our business with our customers. Pursuit owners enjoy a pride of ownership in their boats, knowing that they are backed by the heritage, strength, commitment and values which drive us every day.

Only select dealers can make the grade and represent the best boat the industry has to offer with an unmatched family-owned success story that goes back more than six decades. Sixty years ago is when founder Leon Slikkers was striking out on his own and building fiberglass boats in his garage in 1947 – becoming a leader in the growing fiberglass boat building industry and turning his passion and dream into a reality. Words like “integrity” and “quality” are not catch phrases at Pursuit – they carry great responsibility and help us chart the right course to making the right decisions each day. The boats we build are a direct reflection of the Slikkers’ family’s values and reputation.

We at Pursuit work every day to earn your trust and we respect your time on the water. A core value at Pursuit is in the responsible management of supply and demand. We build a low volume, high quality line that consistently outperforms the market. The value of your purchase is maintained and enhanced year after year. Contact your nearest dealer and see why the demand for Pursuit boats continues to grow each year.

Timeless Styling
We at Pursuit still believe that a boat should be timeless in it’s styling, not look like the fashion fad of the day. It must be beautiful and that beauty should make a statement about the brand and stir an emotion within its owners for generations. From the graceful hull lines, to cabins, windshields, helms, and hardtops, every Pursuit is built to not only be classically beautiful but functional, providing exhilarating performance consistent with the level of excellence our customers demand. We design our product with an element of our recognizable trademark and personality – they are unmistakable in their styling – “classic” with a blend of contemporary elements.

Performance
Exceptional fuel efficiency, predictable handling, comfortable ride in coastal or offshore sea conditions – these are what you will enjoy each and every time on your Pursuit. Get on board and touch, see and feel the difference!!! You will enjoy the smoothest, quietest, quality ride available, with the reliability of the most fuel-efficient boats made.

Exclusive Hulls for Purposely Built Models
While Pursuit shares many design elements, construction methods and features within each model we build, one thing that is never compromised is the design of each hull. Each model uses a hull specifically designed for the model’s purpose. Beginning with our 25 foot models, our Offshore cabin models are built on hulls that were designed to be cabin boats with the proper length, beam and deadrise for the purpose of offering the best ride with the proper balance to insure our customers get maximized predictable performance from their Pursuit. Beginning at 28 feet, our Center Console models feature hard-driving 24 degree deadrise hulls that have the smoothest rides available for those hard-core fishermen and the performance oriented family boater.

In the “Pursuit of Perfection” we won’t sacrifice the ride you are looking for in order to save money by using hulls that are a compromise to the performance you expect and are paying for.
We won’t settle for less – why should you?

Reputation
A brand doesn’t become an icon without having exceptional durability and styling, award-winning customer satisfaction and award-winning innovation, design and performance. Our customers enjoy exceptional pride in ownership over the years as a result of our consistent quality, timeless styling and dependable performance.

Award-Winning Innovation
Leaders in the Industry, not followers. Beginning with the Tiara 31, the world’s first express boat to the Pursuit 34 Drummond Island, the list of Tiara and Pursuit firsts and award-winning designs is unparalleled. We are not followers – we are innovators. Just take a look at Pursuit’s exclusive integrated epoxy-infused windshields on the OS 345. They are durable, attractive and significantly stronger that aluminum and by the way they will not corrode or deteriorate.

Engineering Excellence
While many important factors enter into the design process, one gives us a special “insider’s” view of what our future customers desire in their new Pursuit Boats – that is the process of speaking with past and current customers, ours and our competitors.

The design team at Pursuit feels that its input from customers and other special groups gives the company the best opportunity to design a model that includes all the new features that today’s customer demands.

The other “special groups” that Pursuit brings into new product discussions are members of the boating press, including the editors who have had the opportunity to view many other models and can give their valued opinions. The team also speaks at length with the Chairman’s Dealer Council, a team of Pursuit dealers chosen for their leadership and customer service excellence.

Eventually, the team of engineers at Pursuit will decide what innovations will be adopted into the new model. Regardless of how many ideas reach the prototype, the new Pursuit will still retain the look and performance that has marked Leon Slikkers’ design success for more than five decades.
